Transportation

Transportation is provided on a daily basis for Pre-School age Head Start children ONLY. Our buses are maintained by Head Start Federal Funds, therefore, ONLY Head Start children can ride buses.

We do not provide door-to-door pick-up. Our Transportation Coordinator sets meeting locations based on the number of children in a particular area. Most bus stops are in a church or store parking lot where it is safe for parents to help their children board and where the driver can safely maneuver the bus.

Due to child care and transportation regulations we cannot transport infants and toddlers on buses on a daily basis.

If your child is going to ride the bus on a regular basis please read the following and familiarize yourself with our policies.
